A new meme I thought I would try, and I had watched this episode of "Captain and the Planeteers," which is another favorite from Season 1. As I watched this episode called "A World Below Us," in which Gi and Mai-Ti respond to cries for help from the ocean's bottom because of Sly Sludge's dumping operation, While underwater, Gi was attacked by a robotic octopus under Sludge's control. Before she can drown, Gi is saved by a mysterious young man named Pontus, who takes her back to Oceanus, a secret city hidden underwater. However, the city is in jeopardy because the toxins released by Sludge are causing damage to the sea sand dome that keeps the water away from the city.Gi said she must return to get the other Planeteers' help. But Pontus said "No!" as Oceanus was a carefully guarded secret. And he already broke the law by saving her and bringing her to Oceanus. That's all I could say. Spoilers, you know. Anyway, I chose Gi and Pontus for this meme. From watching this episode and this quote:
Pontus: "Are you sure you won't stay here in the place of your dreams?"
Gi: "I can't, Pontus—at least, not until the rest of our planet is as beautiful and clean as Oceanus. But I'm going scuba diving on Saturday -- around noon, if you happen to be swimming my way.."
