This week we had "Grandma's day" in Poland and I couldn't visit my grandma on Tuesday when it was due to lot of work (I finished working at 8 o'clock in the evening). So I went to her (and my parents, cause she lives with them now) on Friday and got back late, so I went to sleep instead of writing journal entry. But here it is, sorry for a delay.
You probably noticed that I like the most beautiful landscapes. Often I treat photography as a way to "freeze" beauty of the world, to collect, save and share it. But I don't forget that photography is something more, it's a visual art, not only to save view, but to create. And José Calheiros from Portugal is that kind of photographer. I enjoy a lot composition of his shots.

Grande motivo, boa composição e um monocromático a convocar-nos para tempos passados. O uso da teleobjectiva permitiu uma focagem selectiva que destacou os dois protagonistas de entre um cenário delicadamente desfocado. Gostei muito.

I love this work and the life story that you can feel behind it. Such emotion.
The expression on the woman's face is very well captured.
And you know these days, in digital photography, people usually try their best to remove noise from their pictures. I think, however that in some cases, like this, noise is a natural and pretty touch to a photograph.

Another emotional shot. It reminds me some countryside in Italy (where I come from) and in Greece.
It is nice to see that such images are still alive.
