Her eyes look a bit wonky, but I love this picture, the colours, the atmosphere, her expression, her posture; brilliant.

THis reminds me of the artwork in some of my children books when I was a kid.. I found them very comforting and soothing and it helped my magination get away from the crap I was living with..

I think this is my favourite out of all your stuff you showed me.
This gives me such a nice feeling of spring and the colours are good, the proportions - everything is amazing.
Good job.

Lovely, soft work - you've managed to mix the sketch with the digital painting really well, and I do love the palette of pastel colours, not to mention the gorgeous decorations that have been screened into the background. It just all works exceedingly well. One criticism I would make is that her face seems slightly off balance - one eye is a tad too high compared to the other. Otherwise it's a lovely picture, great work.

I go back and forth on whether or not I'm ok with the face. Sometimes I think it works with the whole sort of sketch quality of the girl, other times it bugs me. I should probably go back and play with it more.

Well, it's a lovely face, don't get me wrong, it's just that the right eye is a little higher than the other and makes it seem unbalanced. But I loved the decoration in the background, how did you do it? Screen it in on another layer?

Oh, I'm a big fan of layers. I use them all the time, especially when doing pieces like this that incorporate different sorts of patterns.

This has to be my favorite style of yours! I love the soft colors and the scene - it just seems so relaxing and beautiful. The way you use subtle patterns and line art really makes this fun to look at and really original. The flowers as part of the image and part of the 'frame' add a lot of character and help set the scene. Great work as usual!

I'm starting to enjoy this style more and more myself! I need to start planning another piece to do with this method.

This is really pretty - so many textures, and yet it's not too busy. Actually, it looks very peaceful. I would say, add something small in the upper-left corner for balance. A few leaves or flowers maybe.

Oh it's beautiful. I think the only thing I would suggest is to have her lean against something, or put something that the stairs are leading up to. Other than that it's lovely. I've always liked your work!
