In some way this photo reminds me of my favourite film "Dead Man".
I like that it is horizontal, a vertical version could have been a bit boring. But a few things are too bright, like the spot in the lower right corner - you can't tell wether those are montains or something else. If it were a darker stripe running the whole length of the photo it would be better as it could close it off at the bottom (to balance the dark sky above). I like the contrast between the sky and trees - the blacks are very deep. I'm not sure about the moon, as it is not in any way brought out and looks as if it were there by accident.

i love the distance of the moon in the picture... such a small target, yet my eye is continually drawn to it, and it seems the balance the pull of the eyes towards the trees to the bottom and left of the page and the pull towards the black in the top right. excellent! ^^
