Description
For those of you who saw the Pretendo (Nintendo) Font spread throughout the web, just to note that I actually created it, and was my very first font too. During the time, I used mostly Font Creator Program for it and some of an older version for Fontlab too. But sadly, it looked nothing like what the Nintendo looked like, but I posted it anyways. Now, now that I have Illustrator and have good skills apon it, I was able to remake the font to look a little bit better than the first version. Enjoy this new font.Nintendo logo © Nintendo

Do you know who made the sufami font by chance? It looks like the font used on the Super Famicom. It used to be all over the web, and now it's next to impossible to find.

I really like your font. It looks just like the original Nintendo logo.
But I'd like to ask one thing. Where can I find the actual font to download? I tried checking DaFont.com, but they said they didn't have it.

You know, I've been looking for that same answer for years, and even today I come up empty-handed.
My guess is is that there IS no actual font used on Nintendo's logo. Many logos and typefaces are sometimes created by hand rather than using an existing font for it. So if you really want a Nintendo font, this replica is as close as you can get to it.

I hope you don't mind but i'm using this font (well, pretemdo v.1) for my bands logo. We are called Nintendja (Nintendo+ninja) and it was really hard to edit the original nintendo logo, so i used pretendo. so if you created it, thanks a million!

Cool! Just what I was looking for!
I'm buying a new surfboard and want to have a custom design on it. It's gonna have a picture of Funky Kong on it and the word 'Hangtendo' on it. Clever, huh?
Hopefully your font will be perfect for this. When the design's all done I'll let you know so you can take a look at how I've used your Pretendo font. Cheers for this most excellent work!

Yeah, the original Nintendo font that started it all was made by me loong ago. It was my very first font too, and was created by the use of Font Creator Program. That was 2 years ago, and ever since then I improved in my art and Illustrator work. So I decided to re-continue making fonts again. So I order FontLab, and now I make them using both Fontlab and Illustrator.
