History: Niko was like the ugly duckling growing up; his siblings didn't like him, nor did his parents. His mother had been poisoned by a Poison-type Aqrion when she was pregnant with him, and he came out somewhat deformed when he hatched. He was born missing several appendages, and an extra set of fins on his back. Due to this, he wasn't shown much love as a baby, and kind of gave up on love as he grew older.
Deciding to set out on his own, he ran into a pack of carnivorous creatures, who'd set their sights on him. Niko barely escaped with his life, and earned ugly scars on his face due to said encounter. He soon after returned to the depths of the ocean, and decided he'd try to get some help. He visited a matchmaking Aqrion in the trenches, when he met Quella. After chatting while waiting for the matchmaker to be free, the two realized they were so compatible, that they didn't even make it to the matchmaker. Niko is now devoted to his lovely wife, and lifelong partner, and will do anything for her.
