Because while being bored and looking back at my old pictures yesterday, I came to the realization that Jade is hilariously short. Like, in that picture I did forever ago with all my friends' characters, Jade was the shortest of the bunch, and they're all small animals. And tigers are the largest cat species around.... Oopsie Daisy. Obviously the artist wasn't paying attention to height differences.... Let's just pretend that she suffered from some growth hormone deficiency or something.Then when I first drew Zalika, she just looked like she'd be a rather tall character to me, so hence the picture. My poor teeny tiny tiger. Beaten by a jackal.
(There, that's like, the one thing I know about my own characters. One is tall and one is short.... I really need to give them a proper bio or something....)
