i use a reference photo for the pose because this angle was really hard to execute. the bg is what i can remember of the pier at manhattan beach in california. (it's the prettiest in the winter with some of the finest sands and it's a beautiful, clean beach 8D good for surfing too or riding waves)

Oh man, I really love the foreshortening, and I love how you've drawn the hands and feet (curling little toes awww ;u; ) I like the atmosphere of the image as well - it's very sweet and calm. The dramatic angle of the image itself is nicely done, too~
