You give them such great life and personality! I especially like ho you change up the line work for their hair like the choppy angles of Izumo versus the sharp points of Mephisto and the bubbly ends for Shiemi. I'd love to see more of your work for this series!

Thanks a lot for commenting, for me it's interesting to see what catch's the attention of the viewer, I actually put a lot of thought on the hair design, trying somewhat to reflect the character's personality, so I'm happy you noticed.
I have some more (very) roughs sketches, trying to show some different ideas/perceptions for the characters, I'll upload them when I finish cleanning them.

I don't like him either and I understand that it's hard to have a demon as a brother, but that doesn't mean you have to argue with him and act like you're better than him. Rin is a nice guy, but he's more Villainized than he really needs to be

Not sure if you've read Berserk yet, but I read it because I was tired of waiting for Blue Exorcist and Tokyo Ghoul updates and it is everything I have ever wanted in a manga no joke. I would totally recommend looking at it if you have the time!.. and if you don't mind gore and non-consensual sexual relations lol.

About Tokyo Ghoul... I used to love the manga, specially the first one seasson, like you it was great how the author combined angst, plot and action... and the second series..mmh was like ok, it has some cool moments, but nothing compared to the first one (for me at least), but the last chapters... I don't know the characters are hard to identify (like the author is drawing them all the same lately), the slow pace(it takes him forever to get to the point) and I'm not sure I'm liking it anymore, I dropped it a while ago, you still reading?, is getting better?

You know, i felt the same way you do. But now that i've read Berserk, i wish i had read it earlier. honestly. If you can make it through the first couple volumes-- Β which are still interesting and essential-- the ball really gets rolling in volume 3.
I really loved the first season of Tokyo Ghoul and the first series of the manga, but yeah Re: got boring fast. No one really cares about the CCG man. I wanna know where the ghouls are at. I kept up with it though. If you can just get past all of the boring bureaucracy, all you need to know is that centipede comes back. And it is glorious. It's gotten pretty interesting again, but now that i've read Berserk.... Tokyo ghoul, even the first half of it, isn't as interesting as it was haha

That's great, thanks a lot for the review, I'm totally adding it to my top list now, is good to know when sometimes the story gets interesting past a some chapters cause sometimes one drops it in the first ones.

NP! The first two volumes are just about Guts and how he's crazy mad all the time. The rest is about how he ended up there. It's really really awesome. Edgy but surprising and funny and interesting.... honestly it really is everything I've ever wanted. I just wish it updated more. I hope you read it!! Read it, then maybe watch it if you want. The animes have all been disappointing so far; none of them can do Berserk justice, but not a lot of producers would be willing to actually anime some of the scenes in Berserk. Anyway, I'd love to hear what you think when you get the chance to read some of it!
Honestly Tokyo Ghoul is doing pretty good right now. It's not that it's boring itself, but Berserk is just way more interesting. It's hardly boring ever.Β

I've read all of Naruto and it is definitely an amazing story. I used to read Bleach while Naruto was still updating, but it became too absurd to hold my attention....
I can only read more than one at a time if they all are uncompleted and what I'm reading is the newest update. Currently I'm reading Tokyo Ghoul Re: , Berserk (It'll never end), Blue Exorcist, Attack on Titan, and Seraph of the End. I'm trying to read the rest of Hellsing too but it's too over-the-top for me right now. Like, it feels so corney! XDD I also started reading Jojo, but I stopped when Diamond is Unbreakable started airing. I must absolutely continue.Β

I loved Lost Canvas, each knight/saint is awesome and the story is not as rigid as Saint Seiya. I totally recommend it, it's one of those that kept me reading all night.

Attack on Titan is pretty cool too, I left it until it gets several chapters to read, more fun that way. And wow, you kind of like the same stuff that i do, I read to Seraph of the end.

It doesn't surprise me that we have common tastes. After all, I used to love reading your "Strangers in the Night" comic. It was one of my favourites at the time.

I still love them, but Lost Canvas really gave the story a new fresh air, plus the art is gorgeous.

It is, it tells the story of the previous holly war, in the 18th century. It is sort of official but an alternative version, cause the original mangaka is doing the same story too (the original idea is the same and the characters too), but in some moment both authors followed different storylines. What I like a lot about this version is that you see all the knights having adventures not only in the "houses" and after the end of the story, you can read the next saga that tells individual stories about all the golden saints and they're awesome too.

lol., nope no need if you saw the original tv series, where they win against Saga and it's independent from Saint Seiya, so if you don't remember much is no problem, but it's fun cause you met in there Doko(shiryu's master) and Mu's master(the real patriarch that was murdered by Saga) past when they were young.
