Scene 1 - The Office

Around the corner from the Cafe Stindberg, just off Helsinki's lovely North Esplanade, you will find a nondescript, three story building that houses an interior decorator (1st floor), a travel agency (2nd floor), and (on the third floor) the base of operations of Meklari Päällikkö and his small band of adventurers-for-hire.

Of course, the sign on the door on the 3rd floor landing reads STORAGE, and the only way through it is either a 24 digit key-code, a retina scan or about half a brick of C4.

Today, on the other side of the door, Mek is holding a preliminary meeting with a prospective client. He is holding this meeting via Skype; a little peer-to-peer telecom program created by a Swede. (Mek would prefer using a product that was created by a Finn, but there's not one as good as Skype and he often makes allowances for other Scandinavian countries.) Mek is sitting at his plain Ikea desk trying to get as much information as possible on this prospective client before he decides whether to take this contact to the next level. He is trying hard to concentrate because he shares his base of operations with the two other permanent members of his team...
