Description
I'm sorry but your story isn't adding up
Think your religion is a lie to keep my mouth shut
So I won't testify to crimes you're keeping score of
Why don't you throw me to the wolves I thought you were one
Some say fear is the path to darkness, others might say wrath. If that were the case, Yetta had never felt more drawn to shadows. It was as if she were bewitched, consumed by fear which she then methodically honed into enmity. A wellspring of fury now begging for release.
Upon seeing the first of many to suffer the mysterious sickness, Yetta set her course for home. She had not been to the family den in moons--not sense the patrol regimens had started. The Einar instead slept on the border, sleeping between shifts whenever she could get the chance. But now, things had changed. Now, she had to return. She had to see for herself. To ensure her family was safe and untouched. Perhaps the secluded densite offered protection against the cursed land beneath their paws.
But the invisible enemy had struck their home too. Her mother and Rhea were infected, and Yetta found the situation especially dire. Both were already weak and frail. Hera’s health had deteriorated quickly with age, and Rhea was found several sunrises earlier in the shallows of Magallan Brook, bloodied and beaten.
To say her duties kept her away was nothing more than a convenient excuse. The truth of the matter was that Yetta could not stand to watch as her mother slowly withered away. She could not stand to watch her slowly recovering sister lie to her about what truly happened to her. While many looked to her for strength, she could not help but feel diminished by the courage of Branka, who remained behind to care for their mother sister.
Perhaps that was what breathed life into her fears: feelings of helplessness. Of inadequacy. She knew nothing of herbs and poultices. She knew not how to cure ailments. She knew nothing of magic, myths, or legends. The only thing Yetta knew was how to fight with tooth and claw. And how to pluck answers from unwilling tongues. There was one wolf in particular she sought to confront. A wolf who was weaned off Malaysia’s lies, fed on human flesh, and slept beside the snakes. For a time. Then he turned his back on the Red Witch, renouncing her wickedness in favor of the light. Or so he claimed.
He was not the only one, of course. Several defectors joined their ranks, pestilence and death following close behind them. It was strange, was it not?
“Deimos,” she called out to the ghostly white figure open Man’s bridge. Her amber eyes glittered in the moonlight, hungry orbs of twin fire. “I have need of your insights.” Yetta closed the distance between them in several, purposeful strides. If she deemed him responsible for this blight, caught the faintest trace of deception on his breath, she would kill him where he stood. One quick strike was all it would take…

First off--I love Yetta's mohawk. I would build a shrine devoted to it without even thinking twice.
Also, the way you did Deimos' fur is so perfect that it deserves to be on a magazine ad for some classy luxury hair shit.
