Makosh is an Old Slavic goddess of family, fertility and childbirth.Wanted to draw this character for a long time and finally did it.

I love the slavic clothing, reminds me of old storybooks with Russian illustrations that were read to me as a child.

Old Slavic clothes were really interesting. Unfortunately, nowadays you can find them only in museums.

I can't remember - it was a collection of many fairy tales. I think the book is still at my dad's place, but it has fallen apart so badly that it doesn't even have covers anymore.

Here via the link from The Illustrated Word. I'm simply mesmerized by the whole look of this! The coloration and fine line work, I can feel the breeze and the entire atmosphere.

I don't know much about Slavic gods,this seems interesting..
I like the way you make the deers look transparent..
The goddess is so magnificent...I like her costume and her face expression,the orange color make the goddess outstanding..
