I dug out an old friend, and went crazy on him. This is the result. 3DSmax with plugins and photoshop. Render time was about 3 hours. Some of shiny stuff as well as the "screens" contents were added afterwards in photoshop. The letterbox format were mostly used because I like to have some "neutral" areas in which to place icons.Related content

The specular reflections are spetacular, I like how the floor is also reflective (shadows too)
I like the concept of throwing the older desktops on the tripod, neat idea
The tones are just right, too little color would hurt it, too much color would hurt it even more
