The problem is that the post office is sitting on the package and won't deliver it, but also won't let me pick it up. It's aggravating. I may do the colors on tomorrow's strip with markers.

I don't understand why you can't pick it up.  What do they propose to do with the package?  Sell it to the highest bidder?  Burn it with the trash?

It's a game of tag. When I go to the post office it's not there, because the postman has it. But when the postman comes to drop it off... well, the problem is that he doesn't really. We never see him. Anyway, I've put in a request to just drop the thing on the door step, so we'll see how that goes.

I've played that game with UPS, who couldn't seem to deliver a package to my door because it would mean bringing it up to my floor, or knocking on the door, but never had the package down-town where I could pick it up -- it was at the delivery depot where it was held in escrow by the drivers.
