I have this headcanon that Modest sounds like Ruby Rose from RWBY. just thought I'd share.

Well... just in case this is a double-cross... I'll go ahead and get the wood chips and fries ready. I think Smoked mermaid would be appropriate here. Who's bringing the catsup/ketchup?
Though IIRC in folklore mermaid blood and flesh could make someone immortal.. OR be hideously poisonous...depending on what mythology you read.
There's no proof that the place even exists. We as the audience know that one sister is a pirate, so she's not at "the farm". Unless I'm missing some info that was in the books and not published here, she might have made the whole story up about Marah whooping her butt and showing her the error of her ways.
Heh... those 4 words made me lose pretty much all trust in her instantly. "stick to the plan"... super suspicious of her now.

The story of her encounter with Marah is from the Season 2 book. We haven't exactly seen the farm, but the bearded woman talks about it as part of her plan in season 3, and at the end of season 4 we see Modest's sisters playing somewhere with the Chainsaw Unicorn in the background, although whether that was real or something Jake imagined is debatable.
