Relax, take a load off, its a stormy sunday out there.Hello everyone! I am so excited to share my brand new pinup piece with all of you, based on one of the most powerful X-MEN, Ororo Monroe aka Storm.
I wanted to show an edgy early 90's relaxed version of Ororo just hangin out in her room recharging on a sunday, channeling that electricity.
She's had a busy week with classes, papers and the occasional battle with Magneto and his goons, sunday is her day, why not let it storm outside am i right?
I had a total blast designing this piece, playing with tone, color & electric glow.
Her skin was one of my favorite things to design, playing with tone and color to get her complexion just right.
Another thing I did that I have never done before is designing feet! Well the bottom of the feet to be exact, I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone and took a leap, I wanted to show myself that I could do it and I believe it worked out pretty well, from the toes to the soles.
