First attempt? Jesus fucking christ, I wish any of my charcoal pieces looked like this, really awesome work. You got some really nice details in here. And you even manged to keep your highlights light. Love this, absolutely stunning work. Creepy as hell too, you've give life to some nightmarish visions here.

I do like color pencils too. You can do so much and they really add to the texture and depth of the image. But I do love charcoal too! Have you tried Japanese ink?

nah not really in to drawing with ink( on paper lol)but on skin totally different story.

OK, I totally agree with tats, I have 4 semi large pieces and am excited to get my back piece done. You should try paper or wood with ink, the results are pretty cool, I def recommend black ink.
