The fire that wrapped around his hand slowly changed hues from yellow, to green, and back again, as the man stood before them. A smirk spread across his face, his eyes seeming to glow even in the light of the fire. He practically oozed confidence and knowing. But there was something else, something they couldn't put their fingers on as they took notice of the crystals the grew from his temples, encased his wrists, replaced his nails, and sprouted harshly from his neck.

"Who are you?" one of them finally asked.

His smirk turned into a grin. He opened his mouth to speak, "Maybe I'm the bad guy?!"

I don't often draw humans, can you tell?

I'm not one hundred percent happy with it (then again, I'm not always happy with everything I draw) but that only means I have to draw more humans more often. I don't want to think this is how all my humans are going to look like, and practice makes perfect, doesn't it? However, Epsilon here is not 100% human. He is a guy that switches back and forth between human form and his actual form which is that of a dragon. Maybe he doesn't have his transformation completely perfected and that's why his face looks slightly off.

I'm quite pleased with the lighting and the fire effects, though. The drawing was originally going to be a lot darker, and a lot less colorful. Halfway through coloring it I went for this brighter and more colorful version of the drawing. Those crystals took forever to figure out, which contrast quite quickly with how quickly I got that fireball to look the way I wanted it to look. Also, this was going to be a picture with base colors, and no shading. It's hard for me to stop working on something. I think that's my biggest failing, out of many.

Despite all this, I hope you guys enjoy this picture!

Please, let me know what you think of it in the comments. I appreciate and every single one I receive.

Thank you!

For not drawing humans often you've done no bad on the facial features. I'm really impressed with the hands though as they're a bitch to draw. Well done!

Hands are fun to draw, I hated drawing them before but now they are quite enjoyable!

Wow! You're actually pretty good at drawing humans!
And the lighting? Spot on!
If I had to nit-pick, it would be that his ear looks like its more attached to the back of his head rather the side.

Other than that, I hope you liked it enough to maybe draw and practice some more human poses!

Thank you, you're too kind.

I'm happy with the lighting, but the face still bothers me. Ah well, there's always the next drawing I can work on and keep improving!
