I like this. The main 'command tendril' (or at least that's what I'm calling it ) reminds me of a human spine. Which is uber cool, i've always been sorta fascinated by spines.

Holy shit, you are so talented. I love the different layers - everything's so well-integrated and blended, with great composition, color choice, perspective. Great job, mate~

cant put into words exactly what grips me about this but i will try to say something. ..a lot of art which has all theese modern elements of "cool", bio/cybernetic elements, stylish lines , it grabs my attention because it is superficially beautiful. the media is saturated with this, usually dripping with superficial sexuality. ..there is a cold mechanical horror in your work.. but delivered with the near perfect elegance of the natural world. always makes me think

hey wow thanks for your thoughts on this piece! I like the way you summed it up.
Your right, I do try and get something of nature into these mechanical pictures and they are indeed intended to be less about pandering to desires/sexuality and more about trying to create an aesthetically arresting moment, that is a middle place between beauty and horror - as I see nature is itself!
Thanks so much for taking the time to write about it!

This is really awesome, it's something different from the red and yellow you use in most of the works.
