Here is a fantastic piece by Jae Lee and it totally rocks!His style has really changed alot in the last (who know how many) recent years. And it's for the best I think.
I really wanted to throw down some flats on this one just to get it started.

With respect, might I suggest that you place the full circumference of the moon in the background, even if part of it is blacked out, otherwise the illusion of the moon appears a bit squished.
