It took me a little bit to get around to Raph. Its not for lack of desire.Raphael is my favorite turtle. Mikey was my favorite long ago, but as I got older I fell in love with just how angry this guy is. He's constantly pissed off but honestly, he's one of the most loving of the brothers. He always puts his shell on the line for the other turtles, he'd rather go it alone than put them in danger, and he likes to hug on Splinter ^^ He's adorable. And badass.

Raph is a well-thought character. He really bumps the depth of the first movie up a notch because he actually has a layer under him, unlike a lot of turtle stuff out there. It's the reason the first live action movie is my favorite turtle thing ever.

Mine too. They haven't made anything like it, not really, not even the 2007 version. If they could make a movie like that again, it would be better for the film world. And the kind fatherly love that Splinter and Raph have really get to my heart, and it makes the film excellent for me.

Just stopped in to agree with your whole paragraph (except he was always my favorite). One of my favorite parts in the first movie is when he keeps hugging Splinter at the end (and doesn't he stroke his head too?).

Hmmm. Those some good points about ol' Raph. ^^ I was allways irked by his angst but eh... He DOES really love his brothers, his methods are just those of... toughness. XD *makes no sense now, sorry*
That's a very nice energic pose of him too, really fits his ninja stealthiness I'd say.

I think Raph was my favorite, as his name started with an R like mine, (which was impressive to me when I was like, 5... so... c.c) Though, when I had one of those 'Ninja Turtle Helmets', I made sure to put all four (there are four, right?) colored bandanas on my helmet, stuck on in a very unartistic way.
Though, I wasn't that big of a fan. The first 'muppet-costume-things' TMNT movie was one of those movies my sister and I watched several times a day when we got the chance to rent it.
