omg art for fun art for fun art for funIts 130AM, I'm trembling from cold, I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to draw something. Had to draw something for fun. Had to or I'd explode. Had to or I'd turn comatose.
Its a pair of aromorless heroes. This is so sloppy, I can barely make straight lines because one, I'm shaking, and two I'm about to go narcoleptic on the keyboard. I'm calling it a style. I had to airbrush these boys up like they sprayed their tags together on that wall.
I may do something like this again sometime in a better version with all the detail I was hoping to put in.
For now. Goodnight.

A lot of those years were spent frozen in cryo though, which slowed down his aging. He's probably closer to 45 biologically even if temporally he's older... so maybe some gray but not all gray yet. Plus the books say he's got brown hair so there's a reference as well.

I'd hate to say it, but ehr; Freeman's not skinny. He's quite broad. I mean, he HAS to be. For someone to swing a crowbar around effortlessly in one hand's not something easy to accomplish. Also, there's proof: In Half-life 2 when you're about to go to the teleporter room, (At the start of the game) where you need to tilt that picture? You can see Gordon in that picture, at the back, standing around like a bad-ass. >:V

Now, to art. I like, though i can't see John in that outfit. I don't know why, but.. it just doesn't fit him. But that's just my personal opinion. For the rest, there's nothing wrong with it, i totally like. <3

Don't let Chief here fool your eye, Gordon is pretty broad in this pic... broad for an average man. Chief's a freak of nature you know?
And about the outfits.... they didn't pick them themselves, I styled them ^^

I still can't imagine him with it, though. It's too casual. Seeing as John spent his entire life in a militaristic environment, i'd assume he'd automatically go for off-duty wear. Though, that does not mean i do not like the clothing themselves. Shows you got some taste.
At the broadness bit; yeah, I can see. He IS a freak of nature.

Oh wait, you usually draw Master Chief that way... so maybe not.
Silliness aside, I like this drawing, for its quickness. I may not be into graphic design or anything, but playing with, and in this case combining, distinctive logos like that amuses me (as one might tell from one of the few pieces in my own gallery).
I like how their colour schemes are kind of inverted... and if I'm not mistaken, the colours are those of their normal outfits (or, close approximations for natural clothing colours)?

Outfits not so much. MC is never seen out of his all-green armor and Gordon is never seen out of the black and orange hazard suit... I put some green on MC but I wanted to mute down the color scheme a bit. Making them wear casual clothes was really the draw for me to make this picture

Yes! I dunno about Master Chief, but I am of the belief that Gordon Freeman wouldn't have gotten anywhere without his HEV Suit. I mean... c'mon... he's a theoretical physicist with no military training for crying out loud! A more badass theoretical physicist than any I've met, sure, but I mostly credit the suit, and its usefulness as a body-armour substitute.

I went to my cousin's the other day and watched them play Half Life and my god wasd I scared O_O
It was even more nerve racking than when I played Silent Hill while I was alone in the house.

Gordon looks sorta nerdy, but it gives a good contrast between him and John.

Haha.. epic. I like the random crate to the right XDD I really like the way this looks, although for some reason, Gordon Freeman looks more like a young disgruntled Steven Spielberg. I dunno, that's just me ^^
