Description

I wanted to add IK function to a model that did not involve the typical leg, toes, arms, etc. In this case, I wanted to add IK bones to a tentacle.

How to ad IK function to an MMD model that was non-leg, non-arm, in this case to the head tentacle, or "lek", of Oola.
Open model in pmx editor, go to bone tab.
Lek bones are numbered in sequence, with 1 closest to head, and 10 at the end.
1. Add "lek left saki bone" at end.
2. Right click "Lek left ik" and add duplicate after "Lek left ik", rename as "Lek left ik saki", set parent of "Lek left ik saki" to "lek left 10 ik", link to bone -1.
3. Right click "Lek left 10" and add duplicate bone of "Lek left 10" at end, rename it as "Lek left ik"
4. Go back to "lek left 10 ik", set p-bone as "head", set link bone as "lek left 10 ik saki", turn on ik for "lek left 10 ik", link box will activate. Go to bone list, copy lek 1 - lek 9 to index, paste in to link for "lek left 10 ik", set target to "lek left 10", set loop to 10, click to enable "mvn"; test in transform view to make sure it works.
