Beautiful work and a fantastic sextet of wings (you always paint such nice feathers).

Thank you! I've had a lot of practice with feathers, but I still end up painting them slightly differently each time. Maybe a method would make them look less real?

I think method is the least of what you do with the feathers (hence your success drawing them differently every time). Your knowledge of how the feathers look and the kind of textures and shapes they're made of is good enough to survive any method you employ and your more relaxed approach to the exact technique you use keeps it visually interesting and dynamic. I would imagine keeps it more interesting for you too.
