Ok... I realised that not many people could actually view my other tutorial, because of the OS problem and everything. *damn powerpoint*, so, upon request, I'm splitting up my tuts into images. Whole new picture too.This is going through how I go about creating my lineart
I'm not very good with the pen-tool, so mostly I like inking by hand, but I'll show you how I get my traditional inks onto the computer for digital colouring for later in this tutorial as well. This is not ideally the best method, but it's the method I use... >.<
Next up... marker colour! this time it wont be on powerpoint, promise. Maybe I'll finish this piccus first ^^

lol! I think my marker technique is wrong, anyway. You're meant to build up layers of colour, right? You start with light and then make some parts dark. I can't seem to do that. I have lots of colours, and put the darkest on first, and then work to the lightest.

*clap clap* i used to lean against the window and outline my pieces before i got a tablet lol. thing is i draw at night usually so i have to wait till morning to trace over it with a fineliner. also my finelining skills r pretty crap =x.
now i just scan in a sketch at like 300 dpi, zoom in and outline on a new layer, gives a nice crisp line that isnt wobbly and also mess free! (no smudges) also it'll be transparent
i didnt know how to make layers transparent back then so i just put it on multiply or use the magic wand tool, which made it really unclean =x
i'll keep this in mind thou, incase my tablet suddenly combusts into flames and i have to resort to using my mouse @_@" looking forward to your "leet" markers tutorial now
