It sure is: "Basically a primitive grenade launcher. At first the loading procedure was to light the fuse of the grenade, pop it into the muzzle and then fire the mortar. If the mortar charge failed to go off you were buggered since you'd be left with the problem of getting the still lit fuse out of the loaded grenade" .D
