Description
This is a digital art piece I made of a Carnotaurus in Chile's Atacama Desert. The whole process from sketch, to scan and painting on Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 with my Wacom Bamboo tablet, took about thirty hours to complete. I studied the texture of the carnivore from the Disney film 'Dinosaur' which I loved as a kid. Hope you like it!Β Jason Bartlett Β©Related content

Just run up the canyon-it might be unbeatable in land speed, but those muscles keep its tail from being used for balance. It can be outmaneuvered. But here, you'd have to run up the cliff for that.

looks like the carnotaurus from Disney's Dinosaur movie, which unfortunately had different proportions than the real animal. still great work, brings up childhood memories!

yeah, I guess... Β Not something I'd be obsessing over.
I have seen Thor and Captain America to get some background of the Avengers... all three were quite fine...
I watched the first two Iron man films, I haven't seen iron man 3 yet. haven't seen any of the hulk films either.
I really liked the recent batman films, the amazing spiderrman was disappointing, pointless film imho. Man of steel, didn't even watch it, I think I'd hate it... superman is waaaaayyyyyy down there on my list of superheroes anyway...
I liked watchmen though. Other than that, I don't think most superhero movies are particularly memorable...
Except for the original Robocop. I loved that film. In contrast, I am not excited for the remake at all, they're gonna ruin it.
Superhero films are not my "go to" action films I guess...
Do you consider Godzilla a superhero? XD because I am quite excited for the 2014 version.
as far as heroes are concerned, I prefer the fantasy/sword-sorcery kind to "superheroes" any day.
I am probably not the best person to talk to about this stuff. XD

yeah, I am excited, because the technology has advanced so much, the original films were horribly underbudgeted and so it looks like a toy stomping on boxes in a studio... I think this is the right time for a super awesome visually mindblowing godzilla movie

you're welcome! tbh, Disney's Dinosaur made Carnotaurus look much cooler, they made it look a lot more robust and brutish beast and I don't doubt the ferocity of the real thing either XD
rumour has it that's how Carnotaurus (and pachyrhinosaurus) became my favourite dinosaurs, both featired in the movie XD
