Ah, nice photo. I especially like the white background. Makes it seem "pure" and less distracting. Does give a soothing feeling too. Good job

Nice work on the focus. Just wish the background wasn't so bright. It kind of distracts from the flower.

The flower is nice and great focus but I wish there was some background instead of plain white

I see what you're sayin'. The white is background paper outside in my backyard, the alternative was dirt which was unappealing. I try to keep my backgrounds really simple so they don't interfere with the flower or subject.

Well I'll certainly try that and have done it in other shots ( [link] , [link] , [link] ) That option wasn't available with this shot due to conditions beyond my control so simplifying the cluttered background was most settling for me.

Oooh, I like this, the purple is a very pretty shade. Also thanks for the llama!
This is going into my faves, also beacause we have about a million of these in our yard haha!

I should have bought more. I planted about 15 bulbs this and they took well, I'll see how they winter here.

This flower is amazing, i'm so curious as to where you actually took the picture the backdrop really allows the colors to shine through and almost glow naturally.

It was outside in my garden. Direct sunlight through a gobo to make it soft.

It's so fesh, it looks like it's kinda blowing in the wind...almost dancing. I love it! Captured perfectly.

The wind was an issue, I had to bump the iso up to get some more speed!
