Story time!

Moonspark was enraged as she entered the mental ward of the hospital. Eighteen years ago her father this stallion named Storm Chaser abandoned her. And she was finally able to track him down and she was going to give him a piece of her mind. She slammed open the door startling many and several heads turned her way. And then...she saw him...A grey blue stallion with a dark blue mane and a thunder cloud cutie mark. Sitting alone in a corner trying and failing to solve a children's puzzle..Thats when the reality of what Moonspark was dealing with hit her. Her movements became mechanical as she made her way over to him and sat politely across from him. He ignored her completely and as time passed Moonspark started to ignore him and focus on the puzzle he couldnt seem to finish. After many years spent with a very intelligent unicorn she started to help him piece it together. It was slow at first but it meant more to her than she thought it would. After awhile...he started to talk.
"I-I..d-didnt want to g-give you up..." He never once looked at her "With y-your m-mother gone t-they wouldnt let me t-take care of you by m-myself." he was crying now and Moonspark fought her own emotions down. "I w-wanted to l-look for you b-but I wasnt allowed to.."
Moonspark reached over the table and hugged him tight. "Its o-okay." the last remnants of her rage and anger faded as she listened to her father cry into her mane. "I...I l-love you daddy.."

Now that that is out of the way. The story is that after Moonspark's mother died her already mentally impaired father had a complete break down and was deemed unfit to raise Moonspark and she was taken from him despite his begging that he could be a good father. Moonspark was sent to the orphanage in Ponyville while Storm Chaster spent the next eighteen years in a mental hospital. The reason Moonspark hated him was because she was told a different version of the story that she was abandoned and unwanted and do to her growing up in a earth pony run orphanage she cannot fly and can never learn to. She naturally blamed him her whole life for all her problems until she realized it wasnt his fault.
