They choose them carefully, maybe to splash on a canvas.
Some to wear to stand out from a croud,mix and match, they
Bring out their own uniqueness.
A pen and paper, people use as weapons, to attack the cause
they think to bring to peoples attention, words their ammo.
Pencils and a blank page, they use to bring things to life,
A thing The Bible says only God could do, not quite true,
God just gave us the right to do it in different ways.

Some are sorcerers of words, making things breathe,
Through their eloquence.
A handful of people, with a needle and thread, make things seem alive.

We are the misunderstood, the frowned upon beacuse we speak, or write, or paint to bring things to peoples attention that they try so hard to ignore.
We the Deviants.
And no one will ever eradicate us.
