Huh. Usually I just use either the Path tool or just use my tablet and hand draw the lines (I use GIMP). I'm gonna try this out on my next piece.

I am still having problems using my tablet, so I prefer this method until I get more experience ^^U

I dunno: I've been trying this style and the lines are pretty crisp in my opinion. Just me though.

Cualquiera que permita vectorizar.

Very helpful, I've mostly just been tracing it in myself but this works too. Will have to try it sometimes, thanks.

En realidad no recomiendo ningún programa concreto. Cualquiera que pueda vectorizar es bueno.

LOL seeing many commenting that they use the same technique i also add myself in it when i try to do thicker lineart .
It's a good tutorial, i don't think people will have hard time coming up with their own lineart.

Buen tutorial ^^

Really nice, must take some time to do the bigger ones but this way they come out nice and sharp

Nice tutorial.
Question-How long does it take for you to finish said art works using this method?

JaviDLuffy In reply to spongefox [2012-12-29 11:46:52 +0000 UTC]
It depends on the difficulty of the picture. For something like this sketch, I would need about half an hour (only the lineart).

No, but it's very similar to Photoshop.

Dude. Thank you so much for this.
You know why? Because our technique seems to be 100% identical.
Now I can just direct people to look at this pic instead of making a tutorial of my own
