Nice, my shots turned out like crap comparatively even with a tripod and timer/shutter release. I think my lens is crap though, I could not get it to focus correctly for anything. Great job though! Maybe someday I'll have a lens can capture such beauty clearly.

Thanks, yeah I took like 200+ photos playing with the shutter until I got it right. I used a 300mm lens but I would have loved to have a 400mm or 500mm lens. Maybe for the next one.

I using a Sony A100, Sony 75-300mm lens and a crappy tripod hehe.

I sharpened a little with Photoshop. Yeah I cheated hehe. Try smart sharp filter.

lol so did i, and i STIIILL wasn't that sharp! it's a bafflement! but thanks for the tips...maybe my tripod just got a little vibration? *shrugs*
