The gradient seems just a little bit dull (as in a flat color.) I attempted one a few weeks back with a bit more flash in case you don't quite get what I'm trying to say!!! Still looks good though!

Yeah I know what you mean. I've seen yours and it's great, just as I would have done it another day. My icons usually have a smooth (call it dull) gradient, I like them that way. It's fantastic that people has choices even in terms of gradient, it shows how far DeviantArt has reached! Appreciate your feedback, I'll take it into accont for my next icons

Yeah, yours does add more of a subtle glow as opposed to being right in your face like mine kind of is... 😂 but I definitely agree that I love how far Deviantart has progressed from even a few years ago, as it has grown from a small but cool area to a giant artistic community!
