Description
This tutorial focuses on creating lettering effects from within Ultra Fractal, without having to go to Photoshop for Post processing. It gives a basic overview on how to create lettering, as well as a few advanced effects for your lettering.This is my very first tutorial, so let me know what you think!

well, you can make lettering effects here that you probably wouldn't be able to do in photoshop...I don't know about them necessarily being better...unique, yes
One limitation I do see is that the formula does not allow for special characters (like !, * %, etc), or even numbers, so that could be a problem for some people

I just noticed that, in the second half, where I separated the letters U and F...look at the order they are in when I texture them....

To take the smilie out of the params, copy the params into Notepad and place a colon : and a capitol P between the first colon of the line and the r
The first line should start like this, without the spaces:

DA is interpreting the second and third characters ( the colon and cap P ) as a smilie, preventing UF from recognizing it as a param.

I copied and pasted what was there into notepad, and it seemed fine. There was a colon and capital P where they should have been, rather than a
I then copied it and pasted it into Ultra Fractal, and it turned out fine as well

This is a very useful thing for people who don't have photoshop.

Even if you DO have photoshop, you may want to try it out anyway. Create your very own custom font for your signature or images!
Or simply keep the purity of UF where it is...
