I know a lot of you don't like doing icons, so I thought I would create an icon guide for beginners that will help you to think about the compositions of not only each single icon, but also how they work together in a set.
You may use this tutorial to learn and for inspiration (that's the whole point of it, duh) - but you may not reproduce this tutorial or any of the icons shown in it in any way. No redistributing, same as always.

And if you haven't thought about it yet, you should definitely consider creating your sets on the same canvas (instead of creating an icon and then moving it over to the canvas). I used to do it the second way, but actually creating them all on the same canvas makes it so much easier to make the compositions work together and create cohesion. Just a thought.
