I think it's the rustic Mount Saint Hillary atmosphere or something, but I just got the aural impression that Jazz's radio is playing the Fraggle Rock themesong for some weird reason.
What sizes pages are you making these on? I share Vig's curiosity on how long this will be. Going to make a full 24 page spread out of it? I think I recall you saying that it's going to be based on a log from RP on the TF Gen1 MUSH.

Fraggle rock! I need fraggle rock!
8X 11 cardstock that I'm printing the inks out on after scanning them. No way am I going to mess with the originals...
And yeah, it's based on a scene. Though I may have to take some creative liberties, since the log is ...uh... burried somewhere within the auxilliary hard drive. No clue when it'll end though.

Maybe I should just switch and make onna my fics into comic instead.:>

Yes, make the gutters wider. Also you might want to have at least one shot be a long distance one. You have three fairly medium shots here and the whole thing could be enhanced by pulling away on one shot.
Otherwise, this is really excellent. And it has Jazz. Can't ask for more. We will find out what Soundwave is up to, right?

Hee... I wish I'd had the long shot advice before I did the coloring.
I'll keep it in mind for the next part... unfortunately... uh. I really really odn't want to do this one again.
and of course... unfortunately you know Soundwave is up to no good. . .

Ooh, Jazz was very nicely done here! I love the color pencil medium. I acually tried to draw a comic 11 years ago using this medium and got 8 pages finished, front and back. What I didn't care for, though, was that the pencil lines indented the paper, and when coloring over them, I got negative lines of the reverse side. Of course, it was cheap paper.
My crit for this would be to widen the margins; it looks more like a collage than a frame sequence, especially with color from the top frame filling the separator. With three big frames, though, it's not as distracting as if it were, say, twelve frames with such small margins. That may be hard to read. How many pages will this comic be?

I'm going to probably do each one as a separate piece. If I do a front to back thing, I'd be printing it out. It's actually an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of cardstock that I'm coloring on.
As for length.. um. I dunno. Until it's done, if I even continue past the first few pages that I've penciled. As for the margins... I can see what I could do in photoshop, but I really don't want to color that again, when I've got more pages to come.

Teresa, I must say... I envy your background skills! Nice work.

Thanks, Stace... backgrounds are the easy part though. Getting things/people/giant robots to look like they belong there... that's the hard part!

See, it's oppostie for me... getting the people/dragons/what-have-you is the easy part, but making the background look natural, now that's a whole other story!
