My first Sphinx
I adopted her once from TeenyKing Sphinx Adopts Set 2 CLOSED I will do more of course and you won´t be surprised I guess 8D And I will use them in Katinka of course
She has no name yet and you don´t have to suggest some but if you want to, feel free to suggest names xD

Some people donate points as gift, some earn them through selling adoptables or commissions :3
And adopting someone else´s OC is amost the same as adopting and Adoptable. Here you go:

Thanks Jb! I haven't really put up anything yet so here's another question! How do you mark your art work so that it prevents others from stealing it? Do I have to pay points or cash if I want to copyright it or is it free? How does selling OCs work?

As soon as you put your work online, there is NO GUARANTEE that nobody will steal it. It happend to me, it happend to friends.. once you are good enough, your stuff will get stolen by someone xD Most of all if you draw fanart. That is why my pearlidot stuff has tons of watermark.
Your art belongs to you. Use signatures and I would recommend the use of watermarks too. It makes it more difficult for thieves to steal it and even if they steal it, the watermark might tell, that it is not their work but yours.
One of my friend´s work of "The last Unicorn" was stolen and is up for sale on amazon as smart phone cases and other shit. She tried to take it down but it doesnt work. So... use watermarks. All I can tell you.
Copyrighting your stuff is free. Just make sure it is clear that it belongs to you. But if you want to make money with something, you need to lizence it. I have no idea how this works but I know some people did that to their original species. Like the so called Sushidogs. You can google them to find out more.
Selling OCs is simple. Design one. Submit it and tell in the description what you want and maybe some rules if you want to have rules xD

Ah alright. I don't plan on making money on it. I mean I'll make points but not money, sounds too complex. The point of me being here is just to chat, spread my art, show art, maybe get some advice/improvement, and have fun exchanging ideas with people like you!
Oh and one more thing, is it necessary to have the watermark placed in the middle of the page? Cuz' I was thinking of placing mine in the corners, but afterwards I realized if I did that, it'd be easy for anybody to crop it out of the picture.

The Watermark of your dA Account is always in the middle. But you can create your own and decide where to place it before you submit it

Well, I had stumbled upon your comic at point on the web, not the serious one named after Katinka. But it was one of MLP with JB ones. Anyhow, I fell in love with little JB and I was like time to look into this. I don't get why but she makes me think of my little OC that I had created as an alter-ego of me. Not a fursona though, I don't consider her to be me, or me to be her, or any of that weird stuff. Sadly she's not very fleshed out yet. She sort of is and sort of isn't, she's in a bit of a pickle right now! I'll put her up later on so you can see. She's also apart of a very big story I have in the works. But I'm not going to show any of those characters in that story yet until I get the book published.
Currently I have her species named as Daemon, but I'm not very satisfied with it anymore. I feel it kind of spoils things that are going to happen in the story.
So I'm going to ask you what I should name them.
Here's a small list: They are shapeshifters
They all form their "true selves" to look like cute animals rather than as the creatures that roam their world. Some form themselves as unrecognizable creatures that don't actually exist because those Daemons feel they are above everything else or are too bizarre to be mortal.
They have bodies composed of energy, so therefore when they eat/drink it is out of pleasure rather than need.
They are all gender-less so they can't breed physically, but most of them choose genders just because they can.
They "breed" through magic, and by mixing their energy strands together, they can also clone themselves, and use things in the environment to create a completely new Daemon instead of using energy
Whew, okay. Sorry if this seems long. I just want suggestions.

Sweet. Read more of Katinka btw until my crappy internet acted up. I left off where Tiffany is protecting Gina from unsafe no-no's with that nasty weasel with the scars. I'm hoping the gang saves them before that happens or else... Run Tiffany and Gina, RUN!! I'll show that weasel!!

Back to the Daemon thing...
So another one that's not very good with names either, eh? I'm not great with names myself. So most of the time I put really wacky names onto things. Like McButters or something, if I'm lucky.
I'm really deep into the Daemon species really. But I did write it was a small list to you. When I finally get to posting a Daemon sheet, I'll let you know. However it won't look quite as complex as in my head due to it being spoiler stuff to the story. But we'll see.
