This one is well executed and nicely balanced bringing all the elements together well now that's just my own personal opinion, the stairway starts the viewers journey.
Did you ever try those images on a darker background to make them stand out more?

That's cool-stairway starts the journey.
I really just made this as a sample of my gallery to put as the featured deviation on my page and plan to change it as my gallery evolves.
The background is the same color as the deviantart page because of that.
