Thanks from me too, it's the first DECENT Mecha tutorial i found on the net. You really explain what could help if you want to do a Mecha of your own design... All I found up to now was how to copy a Gundam -_-

mocpages.com was where I found the lego gallery, there is basically anything you can build from lego in there, so It doesn't have to be a mech, it could be anything.
As the little detail is just something I like to do, it takes extra time, but I was always interested by technical drawings.
And YES, you can do something like this, if you want to. Practice and try, thats all it takes.

I think it was maybe 20 mins for the initial rough sketch, and about 4-5 hours for all the detail work. That's a guess since I did it over several days.

That's a great idea! Mechas are extremely hard for me to draw. I'll try to use lego for reference next time!
