When I submitted my last rose shot the other day [link] , I did indeed think that it showed the last rose of 2007 in our garden this year. But I was wrong. Our other rose bush has given us the present of still one more rose in these early days of November. I simply had to share it with you, too.Related content

Pretty one 
We were bad, cut the bushes back, all the roses that were trying to bloom were looking very sad... Ahhh well they will return next year.

Makes me think of the old Robert Burns song... 'Tis the last rose of summer....' (an old, old Scottish tune by one of Scotland's heroes... he also wrote Auld Lang Syne)
