I see it more as a secret entrance to the world of faerie, accidentally discovered by a dutch photographer early one spring as he was looking for subjects to photograph. After he'd made this photo, he found himself inexorably drawn back to this secret, hidden place, again and again, not knowing that the faeries had cast a spell over him, a spell that would one day make it impossible for him ever again to leave this wood.
Then one day, indeed, he vanished, The faeries do not give up their secrets to mortal creatures lightly.
