Description
Did I ever know that there were such mushrooms in early spring? NO, I did not. So this is another case of taking pictures opening oneΒ΄s eyes. Next question: which mushroom? Who knows ... ?Taken near EckernfΓΆrde in Sleswig-Holstein.

Thank you. Sorry to react so late, but I am completely out of my normal reaction pattern. And getting somewhat mixed up with the three galleries, too.

Oh, did I not tell you about them yet. What a missed opportunity.
Here are the other two:

I have added them both to my DevWatch. Does every site represent a certain category of pictures?

I am very glad you also take such an interest in the other two galleries.
Why three of them? Many of you are asking it.
The first was the jchandersΒ΄ one, mainly concentrated on nature shots. Then I started the lightthinkerΒ΄s one, combining inspiring quotations, i.e. βlightthoughtsβ, with good pictures.
The third, the esperimenti-gallery was added last autumn, as I wanted to have a special gallery for the subject of βman and his workβ, where I could bring in people, city, ship and railway shots which do not really fit the nature shot concept of the jchanders-gallery, and also to do some experiments time and again.
There is some overlap, of course, but there always is in life. And I have to accept that the esperimenti fans are fewer up till now. But one cannot have everything.

Ah yes, a pleasant mushroom shot. I'm not blown away by it because of it's somewhat dull centered composition and the blurred green thingy in the foreground. But it's good - just not top you can do better

It looks like a Collybia butyracea (in Dutch: Botercollybia, in German: ButterrΓΌbling, in English: Butter Cap) to me.
You made a wonderful picture of it, so I can't resist to click that -button.
