Where had it gone, that sun when it disappeared behind the clouds? We know it, but how would more mystical minds have interpreted such an evening spectacle in the ages far back?Taken at Oud-Loosdrecht/The Netherlands.

Interesting thought, just like an eclipse in ancient times, how it portended disaster or an omen of birth or the like. Beautiful shot, I like the sun outlining the edges of the clouds.

Oh, it was such an evening! I am so glad I dared to go out, taking the bike for a windy ride of 20 km and wondering whether I would get home dry. Actually I did.
