Description The relics of an old boat and boat house at the fjord near the farm at Nestunet/Norway. I must admit that I love such mysterious wrecks and places, so suggestive of a past that lies long behind us. The new boat house, visible in the distance, offers nothing like it.

Absolutely beautiful. I just love the way nature settles itself around the remnants of old human artifacts. <3

Yes, it is nice to look at is again, a very special place. Great that you like it so much, too.

I hope you will not mind my recommending also to visit my other gallery here on dA, if you do not know it already:

I'm speechless...

I like here colours (as always) and the metaphoric meaning of the scene. The wall could by understand in many different ways: for me like hidding inconvenient things to the "pocket" (some would say: move them into 'subconsciousness'.

And I like here the second set. In contrast to the 'old and forgotten' the house behind is new, colourfull and light. Another metaphor...

(from long time I wasn't fascinated so much with the deviation on DA than now. thanx for this feeling)(take care)

Very beautiful and provocative. The old stone wall really adds to it, I think: it gives the pic a feeling of a hidden treasure.
