Description
We did it again, on those marvellous Baltic Sea beaches, building a stone man. This time he was looking at a magnificent sea-cloud spectre. Taken at the Bay of EckernfΓΆrde in the western part of Baltic Sea.Related content

Great that you like them.
Perhaps you will like to take a look at my other two galleries on dA, if you do not know them already:

Wonderful shot. It's great the way you can make out the strom beneath the cloud.

A cairn, very tricky these. I like the bank of clouds in the distance and the bright blue of the sky. Well done.

The depth of this one is just amazing, and I love how you've made things more interesting with the cairn.

And there it is again! I like the one single stone standing up next to the tower I watched all your shots of this summer, but I haven't commented yet. But you bet I will

I can imagine that it is all a bit much at the moment. After all school has started for you.

Luckily school isn't asking too much of me, at the moment.

Yes, that camera does look magnificent!
What a shame that the monitor does not work properly.

I am very glad you are so enthusiastic. Yes, it was a very special afternoon with that light and those clouds. The stones are there all the time, but not the other elements.

What a lovely reaction. Yes, it is very special on these beaches. A pity you cannot hear the sea speak, either murmurind or whispering or roaring ...

When I get the chance, I like to take a break over on the west coast shore over here and visit. It's so exciting and refreshing. I always find it mezmerising to just look out at the sea and take in just how immense it all is. Maybe even play games with my mind and try to see how far I can see out into the ocean. Oceans always harbor so many creatures as well!

Yes, we always do it. Pretty tricky, though, as such a stone man is extremely unstable.
