Nothing like butterfly colours! It may be a common butterfly here, this peacock butterfly ("Tagpfauenauge" in German, "dagpauwoog" in Dutch), but I find it ever so beautiful and am glad I managed to get a reasonable shot of this one.Related content

I did a similar shot some days ago, and the butterfly came out blurry...
Now I have to go and find some other butterflies and try again.
Seeing your beautiful shot certainly inspires me!

Just keep trying. I just learned to use the zoom (12 times), as the macro always made them fly away. But it is very tricky to focus, that is true. Good luck!
