I am so jealous of those huge trees. Β There has been a lot of logging in Pennsylvania so you don't often see such big trees.

They are logging quite a lot here too, but fortunately they nearly always have spared the lanes and the characteristic old trees. But sometimes these just fall over. For instance we lost the last one in this lane nearly two years ago in a heavy storm. Well, you have to live with it.

We see a big tree here and there but not in rows like this. Β I always love seeing lanes or pathways lined with large trees. Β Unfortunately, like you said, they are vulnerable to heavy storms.

Thank you so much, dear Coco. I always fear I am repeating myself too much. So your praise is a very welcome help not to fall prey to these fears.

dear! Β I don't think one can ever tire of forest scenes ~ even standing in one place over a period of time, the lighting, shadows, the very atmosphere changes ~ so never fear repetition, especially as your eye for composition makes for such very beautiful and pleasing captures! Cheers, CocoΒ

I thrive on your words, dear Coco. They are such a balm to my restless soul. And do not fear. There may be bad days or even weeks, but I shall keep trying. As long as my legs take me anywhere ...

Actually my tyre went bust today. Fortunately I was only one mile away from home when it happened after a 12 mile ride.

It is already fixed by now, and I went out yesterday and today in the afternoon again, as the weather was very fine, with a lot more pictures taken. Two from yesterday are already on the galleries.
