~phew~ lol.....i've honestly yet to be brave enuf to eat many varieties that are said to be 'safe'........but i know the oysters...they're just so unique in their beauty!

These are decaying fruitbodies of the Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus, Dutch: Oesterzwam) a very tasty mushroom (when fresh, not in the condition on the picture ).

Het lijkt wel een beeldhouwwerk! 2 figuren op een paard. De voorste met z'n arm omhoog. Prachtig!
Ik denk alleen niet dat het een goed teken is dat deze paddestoel aan de boom zit, ik zie ook allemaal kleine zwarte paddestoeltjes, en die zaten ook op de dode bomen in het bos bij Odoorn.

Bedankt voor het uitvoerige kommentaar. Het is inderdaad een dode boom, die nu wordt verteerd. Overigens is het grappig hoe wij allemaal iets verschillends zien: ik zie eerder een soort kreeft die de boom omhoog kruipt ...
