I must admit it: this time I took the car and not my bicycle as I usually do for my photo trips here in the area!But arriving at this beautiful little forest lake near Laage Vuursche/The Netherlands in time before the sunrise would have meant leaving the house even earlier than I did.
To my great joy I was highly rewarded for my morning endeavour: there was just the sort of mist hovering on the lake that I had hoped for after listening carefully to the weather report the evening before.

Yes, during some weeks I "enjoy" my sleeplessness. You can do wonderful things then like working on my galleries in the middle of the night or, best of all, leaving house at 5 am for some sunrise shots! The weeks when I sleep far too long will come soon again. No sunrise shots in that period.
