That is a beautiful shot! The gulls look like fighter jets coming in for a landing! You also did a wonderful job of capturing the jet airstream and a spectacular sky color! A triple whammy! I favored the pic and then noticed that it had already been favored by me. I think I am getting senile! Thanks for sending the link again. Many thanks for faving the shot. You are quite right about that birdΒ΄s wing on the right. But I had either the choice to crop it so sharply or to get the wing of another half bird into the picture.

There were lots of other shots as I took about thirty. But none had the drama of this one. So I had to sacrifice that little bit of the birdΒ΄s wing, I am afraid.

JΓΌrgen Wayne shot again !! what an amazing capture, I still am clueless how you get these shots with your camera - other photographers have huge telephoto lenses for this kind of things...
the (i forgot the word for it again) "airplaine trail" adds to he composition, it's as if this was planned and painted and not shot in motion. defenitely a

It took me about 30 shots to get this one right, with my little nephew throwing up pieces of bread to keep attracting the hungry gulls - and they are hungry at Scheveningen! Fortunately the airplane came as if asked and left that clear contrail.
